Ooligan #fish, highly prized by #FirstNations people for its oil. The oil firm Ooligan fish is like liquid gold. This fish has more spiritual and cultural significance than Salmon. It’s also called candlefish, when dried, you stand it up and light it. This is from @salmonnbannockbistro , the only First Nations restaurant in Vancouver.
